About the company

Over the years of its existence, LASER-TECH has supplied services to thousands of satisfied customers. These have included not only Czech companies but currently also numerous companies from the majority of the EU countries, Switzerland, the USA, and more. As a result, components produced by LASER-TECH have found their way to many countries world-wide.

2022 – The company constructed a built-in structure for manufacture in the production and storage facility, commissioned robotic workplaces for welding and bending, and equipped the quality control department with a 3D measuring arm.

2019 – After the purchase, LASER-TECH carried out a demanding renovation of the concrete floor (on an area of approx. 2500 m2), a necessary condition for utilising the building for manufacturing and warehousing.

2017 – To ensure future development and growth, the company purchased an older neighbouring property with a machine shop and warehouse, with an area of more than 3300 m2.

2015 – The company established a workplace for the finalisation of laser-cut parts, equipped with a WEBER grinding and deburring machine and a RÖSLER rotary vibrator with a drying unit, and a manual shot blasting workplace.

2009 – LASER-TECH received – and has since been regularly renewing – environmental management system certification according to the EN ISO 14001 standard.

2007 – The company established a workplace for joint installation by pressing and welding, as well as a workplace for drilling, threading, sinking, etc.

2004 – LASER-TECH expanded its machine pool with its first high-performance cutting system, the TRUMATIC L3050 from TRUMPF, with a CO2 laser with a power output of 5000 W.

2002 – LASER-TECH began to expand its portfolio of cooperation, adding finishing operations after laser cutting, i.e. comprehensive sheet metal processing. The company established a bending workplace with a press brake from the German company TRUMPF and a welding workplace with welding units from the Austrian company FRONIUS. Since then, the LASER-TECH has been gradually expanding its workplace for comprehensive sheet metal processing, keeping its machine pool up to date.

2000 – The company began focusing entirely on cooperation with 2D laser cutting, expanding its machine pool with a Lazerblade CO2 cutting unit with a power output of 2500 W, manufactured by the British company Electrox, part of the 600 GROUP PLC.

1991 – Commencement of operations of LASER-TECH, spol. s r. o., a company established by several former employees of the SIGMA concern’s research institute who had been engaged in applied research in laser processing of materials since 1985. LASER-TECH was the first Czech private company to start a business in the use of laser technologies in engineering.

The company offered manufacturing cooperation as LASER JOB SHOP, mostly in the area of laser cutting and, marginally, in the technologies of laser surface tempering and laser welding, implemented using a universal, multiaxial processing unit (2D and 3D) with a CO2 laser with a power output of 2500 W, manufactured in 1986 by the British company Control Laser Ltd.

The company also received – and has since been regularly renewing – quality management system certification according to the EN ISO 9001 standard for laser processing of materials including follow-up and finishing operations.
